Hello to all fellow modelers, My name is Joe Szczygielski and I live here in Buffalo, NY. I’ve been modeling since the age of 6, mostly aircraft and scratchbuilding. I’m no expert, nor will I claim to be. I’ve made many modeling mistakes and I know for sure I’ll make many more. Most of my modeling time is spent on building US Helicopters, especially the UH-1 Huey. I also enjoy scratchbuilding my own aftermarket parts. I also like to collect US Helicopter kits and drag racing kits from the NHRA series. Married to a wonderful wife (Maryann) of 25 years with 5 kids with one left at home, and 2 granddaughters.
Today I’m a retired/disabled Union Ironworker out of Local#6 due to an unfortunate accident. I also spent some time in Army Reserve and National Guard from 1979-93 as a 95B, 12B and 11B, (mostly 11B). In 1991 I took a commission as a 2lt. (mistake) in the S-3 Section and left 2 years later.
Another hobby of mine was Dragraing, my last ride behind the wheel was in the Heavy/Pro class, and hung the helmet up in 2000.
I hope to make friends with many of you, some I already may know, and hope to know even better.
Keep the glue of the fingers, Joe

Noooo! Jim.... ha,ha.... Hey!!I found your model fork lift truck your looking for!!And its here in Our modeling forum's too.In one of the oldie sites when we first started....I don't remember where I was in here, but it's on someones photo site, its a 2 axle flat bed truck with Wall board or plywood bundles stacked & tied down and the 3 wheeled fork lift is hooked into the back of the truck riding off the ground! Just as you described it as the one your looking for...I'll roam this site till I find it again!.... This is the fun part of modeling too, finding the info you want & parts you need for a modeling project.... Joe you've come to a fun place and we'll convert you over to the dark side of truck'n!...ha,ha.. "RC"

Hello Joe nice to see you here. I haven't started the Huey yet. I am saving it for after the trip the Eustis in June.
