Hobby Heaven Model Message Board Musical Models Contest
Complete rules & info are at the link below. Basically a contest for model cars & trucks based on songs or words from songs. There have been some very creative entries over the last three years and I look forward each year to seeing what folks come up with. Judging is done by a panel of three well-known modelers and a "peoples choice" award is given to the entry getting the most votes online. If you'd like to enter please read the rules carefully and have fun.
I'm always looking for sponsors, if you have an aftermarket business or produce or sell items useful to modelers I'd love to hear from you.

For anyone interested in how this contest came about:
I built this model a few years ago as a tribute to one of my favorite singer/songwriters, Harry Chapin, based on his song
"Thirty Thousand Pounds Of Bananas."

A friend and fellow CPMCC member suggested a contest for models based on songs and the rest is history.

Hey Dan, I just wanted to let you know that the Hobby Heaven Boards do not allow linking to ANY other modeling sites and they also do not allow the promotion of other modeling sites as they are apparently "competition" in Tom's eyes.
Seems pretty hypocritical for that to be implented there, yet it's ok for the Hobby Heaven Boards to be promoted on other sites. I just thought you'd like to know...
