Very Nice But How do u not Bonk your head on the flying planes I am in a wheel chair. So there is plenty of head room for me. As long as you are not over 6' 5" you will be OK.

Dave,
Yes I got a couple of the older Humbrol Paint and an AeroMaster 'Warbird' stands from the shop I worked in, as they were being thrown out, besides they are a much better way of keeping paints in the model room.

Dave,
Cliff is 2 hours flying then 3 1/2 hours by train north from me, I'm 6 miles N.E. from the City of Melbourne, Cliff lives in Gympie north of Brisbane, I've met and stayed with him twice over the years.
Dan,
Nice workplace set up.

This is nice set up Dan. Is this in the Basement? I like it. Yeah it is, and the shelfs in the left of the picture are covered in a hinged sheet of plexiglass, thats an cheap and quick way to make a display case for lots of models.

Man, I am totally outclassed!!!!! The only thing I can say for mine is that it didn't cost anything. Just an old door, and lumber and plywood leftover from a building project, stole the exhaust fan from the kitchen, never used it there anyway.

Bill,
Your not outclassed by any of us, our modelling rooms are what suit our purpose of being creative and practical for modelling needs, my work desk is just that an old typing desk someone was throwing out, covered with a curtain liner and a chair I got from my brother. My current workroom is a let down from what I had in the pix, to do any painting I have to use the backyard, or if I'm lucky and it's raining I get to move two cars and use the garrage.

Dave, Going off at a slight tangent (as I`m often in the habit of doing), I wondered if you had a Centurion ARV amongst that terrific display of tanks. If so, would there be any chance of a photo? Jim

Jim,
The only kit I know of the Centurion ARV is the Accurate Armour [full resin], I have a photo somewhere of two Aussie Cent's with an ARV in the background.

Rob, Thanks for that. Having been a winch operator on one (in my youth), I`d thought it would have been good to have a go at one, if a kit was available.

Well the spray booth (Mk3) is up and running. After pricing up the items I would need to complete the job using computer cooling fans (Mk.2), I discovered that a complete bathroom extractor kit wasn`t much dearer, so I went for that option. I wasn`t kidding you when I said that space in the garden shed was at a premium. After much thought I ended up suspending it from the roof - and guess what? - it works quite well there. All I need now are air brush skills to go along with the equiptment LOL. members.leylandtown.info/jim/web/October 2005_1511.JPG[/img] members.leylandtown.info/jim/web/October 2005_1514.JPG[/img]
