Thnx Dave,
I have a question for you.
I saw in the bike section one of you're works "Mothers Ride" Is this a die cast model with some modifications that you made or is it a complete plastic kit?
I want to build a chopper one day and you're project is close to what I have in mind especially the huge back wheel ;D

I used the engine and wheels from a cheap little toy that I modified.

Hello, The Merc is painted after a long time of sanding en putty The Color is Candy Teal Bleu from Createx Auto Air. Now its must dry for one or two days and than I can sand it again and give it his last layers of goss varnish. Now I can work further on the interiour and engine, I think I made the interiour white. Beautiful Mercury. These old fat-fendered rods never go out of style. That paint job is awesome, really good work.

Thnx guys, But in the meanwhile I have removed all the paint from the Merc and must started all over with the paintjob. The problem was that there where all small holes in the paint, they where to big for covering it with clear. Doint ask me whats going wrong I really doint know Lucky for me I`m always positive and the next paintjob going better. Ron The netherlands
