The GGGTO! "66 GTO"

Hi all, I wanted to post some shots of my '66 GTO, or, as I like to call her the "GGGTO". I call her this because, in an attempt to get the SWMBO more "involved" and "interested" (and more forgiving at eBay time), I enlisted Gigi's (SWMBO) opinion on how SHE would like it to look.

Ya live, ya learn, eh?

Anyway, the kit is Revell/Monogram's 66 GTO in 1/25.

Now, Gigi picked an excellent exterior color. Pearlescant Purple. Fabulous!
But, she wanted a hot pink interior. What is a guy to do? It was quite the internal battle that lasted all of 10 minutes. Hot Magenta became the interior color.

Now, the pictures are of the last dryfit, so there are some missing items such as trim, mirrors, glass, and the engine hoses and such. Here we go...





Yeah, that's her. Hot Pink and all!

Looks good.. I have that same kit (reissue?) on my list.. the boxart on mine is red... Going to do it metallic blue, though
