Hi All, I`ve finally completed the Volvo (about a six week over-run) due to trying my first attempt at airbrushing, which required the construction of a spray booth and extracter system. also another `first` which was producing my own decals. All in all I`m reasonably satisfied and can`t wait to start the Scania forward control(I`m not sure what you call them in the US - the one with a hood(not a cab-over)). OK Animal, you caught me out. As a matter of fact I hadn`t thought about it, but of course it SHOULDN`T be clear. In fact, a clear vizor is as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle ::)I`ll rectify it right away. Thanks for pointing it out. Jim

Great build and the decal work is exceptional. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

FYI; In the US, a Semi truck with a hood is called a 'Conventional' cab versus Cabover
Also.. Nice Rig. I would like to build one like it.

I`ve just completed the trailer and cleared the decks for a new start in the New Year. The trailer is a real hybrid, being made up from three kits and lots of spare parts. The hydraulic tail lift from the Italeri kit gave me loads of headaches, until I realized that the exploded view was wrong and what was shown on the instructions was totaly impossible. members.leylandtown.info/jim/web/Fern Rig 2 (2).jpg[/img]
