The Santa Barbara model club decided to do build any kind of 59 Chevy so I did this 59 El Camino ;D The body is painted lavender The decals, antennas & skirts are from 59 Impala convertible lowrider kit The continental kit is also from 59 Impala convertible lowrider kit The interior is painted white & violet with bucket seats from the 69 Corvair kit The engine is a 283 Chevy small block from my engine parts box

;D I love it, man, the color is fantastic, nice interior also. That would look so wicked going down the street, ha. Stick around and post some more pix, I think, no, I know the cars guys on this Forum beat any body else's!!! Ya'll are just too good!

Thanks Bill There's a cool orange/white 1:1 that cruises thru my neighborhood on occassion with his cantina music blasting away I spent over 30 years doing mechanical design engineering and I was taught the K.I.S.S. method early in my career and I still carry it into my model building Oh BTW...K.I.S.S. stands for "Keep It Simply Stupid" and I do..LOL ;D Weird Willie
