My very first diorama

This is a work in progress. most of it is done but, I want to add some more tools and, maybe do a little more on the interior. I hope you all like it and thanks for looking.

Wow!I've never seen this one in here!! It looks like the ultimate Bachelors Pad up stairs (second picture)...There's a icebox for the beer and a Big Boy Recliner.....It has a microwave too and what looks like a small screen TV...take out that small screen TV add a Big Screen TV

how did u make upstairs

I bought a piece of square balsa wood and cut it to length. I glue gunned the wood to the the walls where I wanted to upstairs floor to go. I cut the remainder of the balsa on angles and used it for braces to give it more strength. I tried to show what it looks like in the picture below.

Before I put the floor in I used some woodgrain shelf paper( I think thats what its called). It came from the dollar store and its like a big sticker. The wooden rails were also a dollar store find they are actually the sides of a dolls crib that I hacked to pieces to get the parts I wanted. All the furniture is for a doll house which I had to paint black and Grey cause a pink and baby blue couch would just be wrong. ;D

I got all the furniture at a dollar store. The garage tools I got in a kit from hobby link japan its made by Fujimi. Thanks for looking

Is the stair case a Silhouette? And I sure would like to see the vehicle thats on the lift with the metal flake paint job!!!!..

The staircase is made out of black bristol board which of course was bought at the dollar store. Heres a picture of that truck for You PegLegRC.



It was the first time I tried to do a metal flake paint job and I'm not really happy with the way it came out. But it was a great learning experience.

All the furniture was from a doll house set that I bought at a dollar store and, the garage tools like the car lift engine stands etc.. were bought from a kit made by fujimi. heres a link to the garage tools..
