Reminds me of my cousin's place actually. They had their daughter's graduation party there this summer.

I bought a piece of square balsa wood and cut it to length. I glue gunned the wood to the the walls where I wanted to upstairs floor to go. I cut the remainder of the balsa on angles and used it for braces to give it more strength. I tried to show what it looks like in the picture below. Before I put the floor in I used some woodgrain shelf paper( I think thats what its called). It came from the dollar store and its like a big sticker. The wooden rails were also a dollar store find they are actually the sides of a dolls crib that I hacked to pieces to get the parts I wanted. All the furniture is for a doll house which I had to paint black and Grey cause a pink and baby blue couch would just be wrong. ;D I hope this helps. Thanks for the question.

The staircase is made out of black bristol board which of course was bought at the dollar store. Heres a picture of that truck for You PegLegRC. It was the first time I tried to do a metal flake paint job and I'm not really happy with the way it came out. But it was a great learning experience.
