I've read somewhere on one of the many forums (or is that fora?) I'm on that some people have used "craft" acrylics with some success (i.e. the 40 cent stuff from Wallyworld). Has anyone here tried it? If so, how well does it work? I know it will probably go down flat, but wouldn't a coat or two of Future gloss it up? I am on a bit of a budget, and if this will work (especially for bodies) I'd be happier than a pig in slop

I use craft paint for engine parts and interiors but, i've never used it on a body so I dont know if future would gloss it up or not.

I've used craft paints from Michaels on bodies, interiors, chassis' AND as primers too with great sucess. But it takes a couple of shots of clear gloss to get the flats lookin shinny
