G'day, My question relates to the 3 attached pix, I helped an [old shop] customer obtain this kit from one of my contacts, along with several other kits of mine he asked about, when I discovered a good 3/4 of the kits ended up in the bin, I and a friend went to his home and demanded that what unfinished model kits, damaged models or intended for destruction, be handed back. The hand over cost me $AU50.00 I got a few models that were not even mine to begin with, but they are salvagable. I'm in two minds as to what to do with this kit:- One:- Is to get the lastest 'Grand Slam' issue and convert it into the standard B I/III Bomber. Two:- Convert this to the 'Grand Slam' version using the leftover parts from the conversion done to the Lancaster kit built for the RAAF's OTS.

I would go for option two if it were me. At least you can make something good out of a bad situation. I can't believe that that guy would just throw those kits away like that, how ungreateful. You were right to go and get the rest of it back.
Darren.
P.S.- Whatever you decide to to, good luck with it.

Thanks for the option vote, I've had a hunt around and found all the left over bits from the RAAF build conversion, so I'll do this one as the 'Grand Slam' in the 'Daylight' cammo scheme, save the bomb bay parts for a complete build, there is one thing that peeves me with this, their are no decals in the box.
Once again thanks for the vote.
