Here's a question I hope someone has an answer for. What color would you paint the stowage on a german vehicle (painted German grey)? Would field grey be appropriate for the rucksacks, rolls, canteens, etc? How about the colors for a cam net for the european theatre? I'm just finishing up my panzerspahwagon painted German grey for Europe, 1942.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. many thanks.

Well the canteens are painted an tanish color, the strap being black and the cap being green.
Rucksacks were a variety of colors ranging from panzergrenadier camo to dark yellow to field gray.
Rolls are in the same category.
Camo nets would be dark green or olive drab"ish". For a camo net, I would spray paint it with a dark flat green color, and leave it at that, but being me, I would probably add some dust almost automatically...
