Wow Bill, I gotta tell ya, I don't know how you found the patience to apply all that chipping and scratching but it sure does look realistic and it gives the whole model that realism and gritty "in action" look. I wouldn't dare count those brushstokes but I know how long it takes. The best thing about it is there is a lot of chipping/scratching but it doesn't look "overdone", congratulations.
I've got both the Tamiya and DML Porche turret Kings in the wings, so, as soon as my Pz lll is done, I think I'll tackle the Porsche version. I've also got a Spitfire on the bench for the group build here. I bought Fruils for the King at the Dayton IPMS show last week and the vendor ripped me a good one, charged me $40.00!!!
What your next armor project Bill?
regards,
Steve
Oh, and let's all stay on the right track!

Excellent!! The finish and weathering is perfect. It looks as if it just came out of the wash rack. Clean but well used. What kind of tracks did you use. They look right on. The wear on them is very convincing. The only thing that you might add is to weather the exhaust and give it a burnt rusty look. Bravo and three cheers!!

OOPs, 4got to tell ya, those are Fruilmodel tracks! Man, when you put those on you have added like 2 pounds to the model!!!, heavy as all get out!!!, great paper weight!! ;D They are metal, and go together just like real tracks, this is my first set, it took like 9 hrs to put them together!!!!
