TTMan, this is a great build! Though I noticed you forgot the rubber on the inner roadwheels! any reason? also, where's the grilles?!? Also, man you should try to invest in some pigment powders and some other methods of adding mud to your tank.. if you can't, you should paint that sand that you're using and try to make it look more authentic. The chains don't look very realistically put on....that would be a trap for stuff like mines and such, especially at the weakest point on the tank! But lemme say this! This is a great build yet again... You did alot of great work on it the cammo is good, however, work on your weathering and all will look awsome!

one other thing... I'm not being mean to you, believe me. I have done ALOT of research on panthers, and one thing is for sure, this is a fine build! However, there are some things that need to be fixed IMHO. Not saying you suck, just saying, there are some logistical problems on this build that I wont get into, cause I'm tryin really hard NOT to be a rivet counter!

Alex!! ;D Hi there!! Looks really nice dude! The road wheels do kinda stand out. You're not done with it yet though right? You have really improved your ABing!! That ain't bad camoflage at all! Actually the more I look at it the better I like it, might have to copy that. 1/25th? that's pretty big, huh? And working suspension too. It can be converted to be a motorized remote control vehicle?
Have fun, Bill

Alex,
While you have painted well here, I must agree with James' assessment. The unfortunate issues with this (and other) Academy armor kits must be corrected by the model maker. The very fact that I can see thru the fan tower right through to the suspension is just one of those things. The second indicator, is the completely ridiculous rubber band track. (which is why I never bought these 1/25th Panther kits)
Outside of the problems in the kit. It is very evident that you have rushed this kit. The lack of paint on the inner roadwheels, the uneven attempt at weathering, the loose shurzen support rail, and other basic cinstruction issues, tell the story.
You are a talented modeler, I just think you need to down shift a couple of gears, do your research ( a heavy steel roadwheel would never be hung off a flimsy storage tube) and pay attention to the details before you announce: "finished"
Regards,
Steve

This kit was built mainly oob, and yes, I kinda rushed it, but I do have a reason for not painting the inner roadwheels, the box model shows them unpainted, and I guess it made sense to me, I'll go back and fix it. The sand? What sand, that is real dirt painted with a dark oil color, I just left some spots blank to simulate drying mud, and I know I need to highlight the wheels, just didnt get around to it. I like the chain, so Im leaving it, humph! [ ]I didnt really do any research, and I didnt want to modify it very much, so thats why the grilles are hollow. The reason the tracks are like that are becuase ONE: I wanted a working suspension TWO: I didnt have any CA to glue it down THREE:I forgot LOL Just thought I'd explain.

Very nice work, Alex! The only thing to improve is the roadwheels, the inner ones don't have rubber rim in black...
