This is the first of Five Merkavas and one M109 'Doher' to recieve paint and be close to finished. This is Tamyia's merkava I. I am painting it with MM acrylics and will set this in an urban combat situation during Operation Peace for Galilee in the early '80s in lebanon. There will possibly be a burned out building. This tank is pre weathering other than the pin wash I did. I replicated the cast texture on the turret with stipling Mr. Surfacer and added the exhaust piping on the front ends of the tanks. It is pretty well box stock other than the PE license plates and the Fruil tracks that will soon follow... they are just a couple of snaps and you'll see more as I go along. It's almost ready for weathering powders...

Very nice work. I am currently working on a Revell 1/72 Merkava Mk III. This is the first tank that I've tried to build in many years. Great job on the model.
