this is the revell germany 1/32nd (iirc) landrover series three. this is a prety good kit, everything fitted well on it too, i am building the tamia landrover ambulance (rover eight) kit in this scale and am converting it from series two landy to series three using bits from the revell kit, and doing the revell one as a series two RAF landy(that one is almost complete and has been that way for a couple of years now) hope you like. Greg,
Nice build of the Revell kit, is this still available ? as in Oz it has not been seen for some time. I have the older Tamiya 'Pink Panther' in the progress stage but has been put on hold for the past year or more.

havn't seen it in the shops here for about a year or so. the Tamia ones (panther and ambulance) are available though. saw both for sale today at the Aeroventure museum here in Doncaster. i picked up an italeri one in this scale last year and it seems simillar to the revell kit but has parts for a version similar to the SAS version but without the sand tires. i have not started this one yet though.
all the best.

Hi Sean, i have owned a rangerover 3.5ltr V8. it is the most useful vehicle i have ever owned, from towing, offroading, being a family car, draging the hedges out of the ground when doing my driveway, load carrying, it did the lot with ease.(and the sound of that ballsy V8 is pure music). i really wish i still had it but with having a 72 mile comute to work and back each day i really couldn't afford it now (it did about 18mpg) if you can afford the running costs then go for it. you won't be dissapointed.

I would love to see some more photos of this one. You did a fine job on the fit and finish from what I can see in the photo. Thanks for sharing. I just may have to go out and try to find one of these little gems to build myself.

thanks guys, i have to admit, the parts for the kit fit better than panels for a real landy, i will try and find the model. i have moved house to be with my new g/f recently and its still boxed away because we are looking for a bigger place but if i can find it and the others i will get some more pics done and post them.
best regards.

have found this model landy, along with some others, i will post pics of them after repairs have been done (moving house takes its toll on models).

Their is a resin producer who does the Aussie conversion of this kit plus trailer, but the kit has not been seen in Oz for sometime. I have the Pink Panther and Ambulance kits, I may do another kit bash on the Ambulance in the future.
