Hi
I have the Micro Mark decal solution set, it came with a additional set of acrylic clear gloss, semi gloss and flat. My question is after spraying clear flat from an airbrush what do use clean it with? On the back of bottle it tells you to use “model flix cleaner” which I don’t have. Can you use something else? I never sprayed any finishing products from an airbrush before, I’ve always applied the finishing clear coats with a brush.

You can use pretty much any solvent for acrylic to clean your airbrush. Windex, alcohol, usually just plain water. I normally use a mixture of 1 part Windex, 1 part Simple Green, 2 parts distilled water (I mix it a quart at a time) and that gets rid of most acrylics. For the really stubborn paints a shot of laquer thinner will always work.
