Ha ha ha...it has been a bit dead around here lately. I don't get to post as much as I would like due to work and all. I try to respond to comments though. I noticed your moniker there, I am a big Mustang fan, but I do like Mopars...well, and cars in general. I used to build a lot of cars and planes and am trying to get back into it. I like Star Trek ships too. What all do you build?

71superbird...my favorite are 68 to 70. I have owned a few, but the one I miss the most is the 69 Mach 1 that I had. I sold it because it needed a bit of work and I didn't have a lot of experience working on cars then. I am learning now. I actually have a 1992 Prelude I am getting ready to stick an engine in. I like my big old American musclecars though! Thanks jantrix, and a hearty welcome to you too! What all do you build?

change the prelude to rwd and put a mopar 383 stroker with a holley 750 double pumper carb and a 4 speed transmission I was really thinking hard about putting a 318 in a 1992 Eagle Talon that I put an engine in that run great for 1.5 days before throwing the balance shaft belt and bending the valves. I am new to a lot of this major mechanic work and that pretty well did me in on that car. I found that the rear end out of an S10 could probably fit with a little modification, but the car had already lost me by then and I gave it to a friend to tinker with. Jerry

RC, I painted the instrument dials with Testors enamel gloss white and did the highlighting with very fine tipped red and blue Sharpies. The tips are very small like the old pilot fine tip marker pens. After that I just went over them with some future floor polish. They turned out way better than expected. I also coated the dash in multiple coats of future to get a nice glossy finish to the dash. I went over the seats once to get a little bit of gloss so the seats would look a little bit more like leather and then did a little bit of "weathering" on them to bring the seams out a bit more. Thanks for the compliment.
