Well, things aren't moving very fast due to the hot days and other things to do. Anyway, here's what happend so far. Got some painting started on the interior, black/white, clear coated the body and got some flat black on the hood and scoop. I also started to build the centrifugal compressor and managed to almost get the gear casing ready, some small bits to fix and that part is ready. Had some problems with the material on the compressor so I'll have to take a trip to the LHS and see what he has on the shelf for me. I also have some problems making room for this outfit but hopefully I'll sort that out. Otherwise there will "only" be a stock HEMI under the hood. This is what 27 pieces of plastic looks like at the moment when you're up close. Have a nice summer! Niclas

To put it short, a centrifugal compressor (CC) is like a beltdriven turbo charger. I ran into some problems with the compressor in my build, not that I didn't manage to solve the problems with that particular piece. The big problem is that it wont fit under the hood without major surgery and that is something I don't wanna do in my already painted body. So I'll have to figure out something else with the engine, an EFI maybe? Save the CC for another MoPar instead, the 67 GTX and make room in that one before painting it.
Thank you all for the comments! Niclas

Very nice...ummm.. everything, Don't know anything 'bout building autos but I love the color and the way the car looks, like it is a real car sitting there for sure, I do remember actually the "Muscle" cars, and that color sure has to be right on. You guys are gonna make me start building a car real soon I swear, the more I look the more I feel like going and picking one up and give it a try!
Great job and thx for posting it here, REALLY appreciate it,
Bill

So, things are slowly moving along. Got some chrome on the body and managed to create some more work as you'll see later. It's funny to see how the paint changes from different angles and light conditions. Here you can all see what I was talking about above...sigh! Slipped with the knife while I was working with the BMF Maybe if I fill it in with some rust colour and call it a battle scar Well, we'll see what I can do with it. Hopefully it's going to work out with some primer and paint to fill up the void I made. If that wasn't enough I also sanded/polished through the paint work beside the trunk lid so I have to fix that also. So that's all for now folks! Niclas

Wow! That is some awesome work you have done there Niclas. Those little mistakes would be nice for me, when I first painted the Mustang that I just posted I dropped it right onto my dirty garage floor and had to sand it all back out. The paint is still not the best but I am looking at it as a chance to learn from my mistakes...I like the rust idea! Jerry

It's still alive slowly crawling towards the finishing line. Brakes are on and the red line on the rims. Scale Auto Style brakes, as a gift from a friend. Thank's again mate. ...and at the rear too. Cheers! Niclas

Managed to fix the paint problems, in the trunk area the damage is almost in invisible and I think the scratch will be to as soon as I can sand and polish it out. I'll have some more pictures up later as I made some progress on the chassie tonight
Cheers! Niclas

The fun stuff has started! Engine details, still some things missing, but they'll get there. Then it's "just" the interior left to do before tidying all up, hopefully in time for the upcoming contest/exibition in two weeks. Niclas
