I just finished this one up a few minutes ago. I had some issues with the BMF on the fender-trim moldings while I was fitting the chassis to the body, but it's all fixed now. Hope you like it! I'll take some better pics tomorrow when the sun comes out. Thanks for lookin'!

One word, That is really and truely totally awesome!!!!!!!!!! Ok, so I can't count, ;D On this one I want to say a few things, because it is obvious you know what you are doing and really put a ton of effort into this build. The bumpers look fine, it is more than likely the light, but..the right rear bumper "looks" like it has a wrinkle in it, like I say it probably doesn't, probably light and/or reflections. The engine bay, is that the right term? anyway it looks like a photo of the real thing, I think it is very, very impressive, are there wires in there that I just cannot see? It is just all around cool, the braces on the radiator top, battery, fan belt, valve covers, brake system, hoses, man, I could go on...are...umm, dang nice!!! The wiper blades, am I missing the rubber part, everything is sooo shiney. Now to the best part, the body work..OMG!!! The little lights on the four corners and the chrome emblems are amazing. The paint job is like out of this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing that hit me right off besides being a beautiful paint job in itself is the fact that the metal flake silver looks in scale. From what little I have seen on alot of cars is it must be hard to get metal flake paint in the right scale? I have NEVER painted metal flake so I don't anything about it. Anyway Pokey, that is the one word I wanted to say about this work of art, good thing I don't say much huh?
Have fun and thx for letting us see, Bill

Wow, thanks bluecorsair! As for the rear bumper, I think it may have been the lighting, because I'm looking at it right now and it looks fine. To answer your question about the engine bay. No, there is no extra wiring. I wish I had added some, but I don't have any detail wire on hand right now. That's the great thing about this revell kit. All it needs is a little extra detail painting, and you have yourself a very nice replica. It is indeed hard to find metal-flake paint that is in'scale. This paint is the new Testors Custom Lacquer System, probably the best rattle-can paint I have ever used, right up there with Tamiya paints. And as for the detail on the body, a little BMF (Bare Metal Foil) goes a long way. Thanks again for the kind words, I appreciate it! Shawn

Hi Pokey
She's come out great. The sunlight brings out that silver paint. I'll have to look out for one of these kits, it looks like a nice one to build?
Like the rims too.. Did they come with the kit?
Tell you what, when I did my 67, I removed the plastic wipers because I wasn't happy with them and replaced the with some Modelers etched ones. It made a difference to it.
