Since I recently found and joined the site, I thought I'd drop in and say hi to everyone. I was introduced to scale modeling on my 7th birthday when my Dad brought me an AMT 1/24-scale kit of the new 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible (with working head and tail lights, no less!!). Of course, Dad really put most of it together, without paint ("too messy"...) but little did he realize what he had started.
That was over 40 years ago, and I still enjoy the hobby. Rarely have time to spend with it these days, but cherish what time I do get. I'm sure I'll be asking questions, and I hope that maybe I can answer a few, too!
