For a Useful Tool....I find it USELESS...*I get the message " 404..File Not Found"
So evidently it wasn't as good as hoped.
Does anyone have a New location for this ??

Dnlgtr, I think that the problem must be at your end. I`ve just opened the page straight away. It really IS a very good tool. Jim

I opened the page but when I went to DOWNLOAD... I get the message '404 File Not Found'
Do you have to register before you can Download??
I click on quickscale.net . That works. I then click on the Download link, That also works. But... when I am on the Downlopad page I click on : " 1. Download Quick Scale (file size: 4.5mb)." I get the http 404 file Not found error message
I found something. Instead of clicking the link That is step #1. Use The TiTle as The download link.

Dam I just lost all I had typed here.
I did not realize that the title on the download page was a Link until I moved my cursor over it. And That was After trying to download the file 4 times, Posting here, AND sending an e-mail about my problems to Quick Scale.
As I said I did find the correct link and was able to download the file. However, My mistakes were not entirely in vain. My e-mail about my problems downloading their software, lead Quick Scale to find a Problem on 'Their' end as well. The step #1 link was a link to the OLD version on the software and no-longer valid. They forgot to change that link to go to the update. I received an e-mail from them that was both an appology for my troubles with the download, and thanks for finding our error in not changing the link when we updated the software. So My mistakes were Not completely in vain, Nor solely my lack of skill.
I never said I was any more that a computer novice. Even after 2 years on-line!!

You can use it without paying. you just have to wait for an ad to pop-up asking you to buy the usage rights. just click close/cancle on the ad if you don't want to pay.
And Yes I did get the software. After sending them an e-mail that I was getting the 404 error. That was as much their fault as mine.
But due to my e-mail nobody else should get the same error I did.
