That's just sad. I hate to see them put out like that, even though I understand that it's necessary. Men lived and died in some of those planes and the deserve a more respectful place to finish out their years. If you haven't seen photos of the USAF graveyard at Davis-Monthan AFB take a look at These Aerial Photos What I'd give to just have ONE of them in my back yard! |

Sean,
The F4 in your back yard, would takeup the house and overhang into the street, past the neighbours. It would be a blast to start her up in the yard though.

How much over hang ?
Funny you mention this, as I was helping a friend a few months back, reclaim some driveway to his house and I suguested too him to borrow an F-111 from the RAAF, it'll clear the drive and solve the problem with the neighbours.

Sean,
Sounds similar to a place I once lived, 180 ft from the back door to the back fence and 65 ft wide,
I'd say an F4 would fit squeezed into the area nicely.
