That's just sad. I hate to see them put out like that, even though I understand that it's necessary. Men lived and died in some of those planes and the deserve a more respectful place to finish out their years. If you haven't seen photos of the USAF graveyard at Davis-Monthan AFB take a look at These Aerial Photos What I'd give to just have ONE of them in my back yard!

Sean,
The F4 in your back yard, would takeup the house and overhang into the street, past the neighbours. It would be a blast to start her up in the yard though.

How much over hang ?
Funny you mention this, as I was helping a friend a few months back, reclaim some driveway to his house and I suguested too him to borrow an F-111 from the RAAF, it'll clear the drive and solve the problem with the neighbours.

Sounds similar to a place I once lived, 180 ft from the back door to the back fence and 65 ft wide, I'd say an F4 would fit squeezed into the area nicely.
