You can feel the history in these photos. You are very lucky indeed to be able to walk among so much history.

Hiya Dave, i could certainly fl the history there, especially as some of the guys who are tour guides are WW2 aircrew veterans, and boy do they have stories to tell. one of them aws shot down in a lancaster during 44 and some of the crew were lost. he has written a book about his experiences and it is for sale there, i will be picking up a copy next time i am down there. th normal tour goes along the side of the hanger and across one end, as i was a guest of one of someone who works there i was taken down the middle of the hanger, a rare privalige, one for which i am very greatful. all i can say is......... What an experience....

Greg,
Excellent collection of pix, bad light or not, we have a Lanc at our National Museum and a Mk IIa Spit, along with a lot of Luftwaffe stuff. Most of the Warbirds that fly here are in Private hands.
