I rebuilt this 29 Model A Ford Roadster several years ago. These are the only 2 pictures I have of it since the car is packed away from the big move that I didn’t make Back in ‘63 it was painted Candy Green over a gold base with a white top and silver gray interior. It had a blown Hemi engine. It featured hand painted white wall slicks and front tires that were mounted on chrome reversed rims . Then in ‘98 the club I was in had an “out of character contest” so I decided to resurrect it to a factory stock because they all knew that I’m not a factory stock guy . Except for the wheels and the rear tire mount it’s the closest thing to a factory stock car I’ve ever done and I haven’t done another since which might be a good thing . I had to scrounge up various stock parts from all my parts boxes. The body is now painted burgundy with black fenders, a tan top and the interior is tan flock. The spoke wheels are painted a wood color. The picture was taken in front of the original box . Before as a street hot rod…… After the resurrection to an almost factory stock……
