I use AVG and it is free. It found a virus that Norton could not find. My firewall is in my modem and I also have the fire wall from Windows SP 2. I have no problems at all. I also have MSN Spy Blocker Beta version.

I use a product called Panda Titanium. It is an anti-virus as well as a spyware protection. It has a built in firewall as well. You can check it out at this site: www.pandasoftware.com . I have had it since May and it has done very well for me. I run my Adaware and Spybot S&D about every two weeks now and usually end up with only a few with Adaware and nothing with Spybot. My Norton was not catching a lot of stuff and I thought I was paying waaayy too much for that kind of protection. I only gave $25.00 for the Panda. Jerry

It is very hard for one system to get rid of all the viruses and spam, I have 4 systems;Spyware,Virus scan from MIT, Norton, and Microsoft antispyware. Oh, and Scotty. What one cannot delete, one of the others probably will, Some Trojans are very tough to get rid of!! Thinking about getting Bulldog to replace Norton also. Here is a good site to read: labmice.techtarget.com/antivirus/articles/avprimer.htm
