Great pic's, were not seeing any smoke or anything up here but its Smoke and Grey down in Bakersfield...
Good sun sets though.....Nice area you live in! Beautiful is more like it! When 's the Big Move up to Gold Country?

Ditto on the sunsets. It's really nice to be so close to the beaches, which are only 2 miles west on 5th St to Oxnard Shores or 4 miles due south down Victoria Ave to Silverstrand Beach  The real estate market here in Ventura Co is really saturated right so we pulled the house off the market for at least a year or 2. So it looks like I'll be enjoying those cool ocean breezes instead baking in the blistering sun at the lake  |

Smart Idea....My Niece and her Husband just took a real beating on their home in Redding!...They had to move to Portland for his Schooling and bought a 5th wheel to live in and sold their home.... But it didn't sell at the price they wanted and almost lost it to the bank because he's working Part time, School full time and she was only working part time too, now the house sold for peanuts and she went to work making $19.00 an hour as the legal secretary for two big bosses of some big corporation up in Portland ....They had to borrow Evey month from his parents to make the payments, finally got a buyer but had to take a real beating on the home, They only got $16,000 out of it for them selves and he had been there 20 years!......Its not a sellers market anymore.. They should have sold 18 months ago and they would have been okay but didn't get the Chance till now to go back to school to be a mortician Brrr! Scary work ha,ha...He's a Mortuary Paster now, and wants to have his own mortuary, do his own embalming etc and everything in there from Marrying to Burying next door to their B&B they want to buy up in Washington State!.....
You Guys were Smart to stay there till its good again....Its much cooler where your at now in the summer thats for sure the humidity up there is miserable......Thats why I moved up here its never over 100 and humidity is in the 30's unless it rains in the summer then for a few days its bad!....Thats why its so Green up there where you want to move to.... Humidity!....

Hey that Fire has the whole sky filled with black Smoke but its up high above us no Smell of the smoke but the streets and everything look brown own the Sun filtering through the smoke...Guess their worried about some mountain Towns now in its path!..... "RC"
