American by birth, Southern by the grace of God.
Amen to that statement. One question what brought you to Vermont?
I see nothing wrong with your mug shot. It looks a lot like the one at the post office LOL

LOL!!!! How I ended up in Vt. is long story.... Basically in 1984 I ended up in Springfield Mass. via the Big E where I worked for the carnival, & where I met a woman... The work situation was good at the time, & I ended up doing autobody repair in Springfield till Sept of 91, when the work died... I met my wife on a weekend trip to Vt. & found that I really liked it.... Of course the winters suck in the N.E., but I do okay being self employed as an automechanic/bodyman/ woodworker.... Also the gun laws are extermely realistic, which I like....

I hope you guys don't mind if I barge into the conversation...I was stationed in Maine while in the AF and I agree with K357, it is a beautiful area and it does quite suck in the winter! If I ever decide to move to the Northeast, Vermont is one of the choices due to how beautiful the area and the gun laws are, as K357 puts it, extremely realistic! I live in Ohio where the winter sucks, but not as long as up northeast way! ;D

No problem Jerry.... Yeah Vermonts not bad 9 months out of the year.... It's not the snow or even the cold that I have problems with, it's the &^%#( ice!!!! I've got bal;ance problems due to a haed injury, & I really try & avoid the ice whenever I can!!!! I fell last year & tore up my knee which required surgery, & I avoid it like the plague!!!! As far as the gun laws it's like night & day from Mass( where I lived from 84 to 91) & Vermont... Down in Mass you have to have what's called an Firearms I.D. card to buy BB's!!!! But every crack dealer on the corner has a a piece!!!! Vt. is one of the few states in the country where you DON'T need a permit to carry concealed..... One thing I can't figure out up here is with the winters being as bad as they are, why there aren't more modelers... As least I haven't met very many online.... Go figure.....

;D Haha, you funny Amelican RC. We are alot like your California, as far as Geography goes, we have mountains, desert, forests, prairie land, too much of that, and sorta ok beaches, compared to yours though they suck, big time. But it is either this or go 1,200 miles either way to get to a nice beach, California or Florida, and that trip is just a wee bit too far for even for a Texan, haha. Actually this just outside my house so not too far for me to go.

I was in a tornado once in Oklahoma when I was little, only good thing about that was Grandma let me have some of the Homemade Spiced Peaches she kept in the root cellar that they used for a shelter... Nice Tan you got.....How's the Skin Diving? Isn't the gulf waters Warm?.. Lots of fish or are they pretty much fished out after Viet Nam?...Water clear to see the bottom?..Do You scuba/skin dive? I lived for diving in my late teens & early 20's...I was th Vice President of the Green Dolphins dive club....We spent almost every Friday night after wok at Palo Verde's Ca their cliffs and we would meet there after work and hike down to the bottom, camp out eating fish, lobster, drinking beer and playing our Bongo's and Ukuleles all night and diving all day...I shot a 37 lb White Striper and we BBQed it and had a feast that night.....No Drugs back then, Beer was the drug of the day and it was Lucky Lager Beer! ha,ha..Also Lucky Strike Cigarettes, No Marlboro's then ha,ha...
