To be quite honest here
I personally think , that they should of been more careful
i mean you need hot water to make coffee
if i make a cup at home ,which i do every 20 minutes
if idrop the cup and burn myself
do isue the kettle maker because the waters hot ??
no its my fault should of been more careful
thats my opinion on this
if the water has at boiling point it would be bubbling

Cyanocrylate glue is carcenogenic (allegedly), but I still use it, fire burns, but I enjoyed 27 years putting it out, i'm either totally daft or well adjusted ... how far down this road do we want to go? |

This is probably the most simple response to the lawsuit. I don't care how hot the coffee is. It's hot!!! It was hot when she bought it!!! She knew that!!! People, for years, tell their children to be careful around hot things!!! Apparently, this lady didn't listen too well as a child!!!! Too many frivolous lawsuits are ruining a decent system!!!!! And, YES!!!!! I feel like this was a frivolous lawsuit!!!!!  |

Well i just cut myself with my knife
so i'm gonna xacto
and trumpeter for leaving that bit so i had to use the knife
then i managed to get stuck to the model with superglue
so i'm suing them for making the glue too strong
but a bit I superglued fell off , so i'm suing because the glue was too weak
I'm also going to sue Dan because i spend too much time on this site its addictive
and yahoo messenger thats addictive as well
i'm going to sue te people who make south park
because i laughed to much and started to cry
oh i'm suing everyone and everything

May be we all ought to sue our internet providers for causing us to get addicted & stay on line for so long!!!!! ;D Seriuosly though, didn't any of these plaintiffs ever hear of those wonderful things called lids that go on the tops of thier steaming hot cups of coffee?  What a crock of  ..... |

It seems the law suit is now becoming the easy way out of everything. Let's blame somebody? ... whatever happened to common sense and someone saying, "now wasn't that a silly thing to do?" ... compassion instead of compensation!
When we grow into adulthood, we start taking charge of what we do ... well, most of us do!

My younger brother is an Insurance loss Investigator, he handled a claim {some years ago} by somebody who was hit by a trolley in a Supermarket car park, she had her payment reduced from $1.4 millon to $38.000.
I spent 16 years of my life in the Army, the first 4 years we had protests by the hundreds, against the War in Vietnam and at the time a lot saw first hand what 'Shoot first ask questions later' was all about, if they got near the front gate of the Base, in later years it was the 'rent a crowd' the greenies used who tried to remove us from our training area's.
As fo suing someone, I sued my youngest daughter and her 2 partners for child abuse.

I know this is slightly off topic, but since we are on the topic of hot things, I have found out that if you accelerate superglue on paper, it will smoke and or light on fire, just a little safety lesson...
