Very nice..... My father served in the 101st in WWII, & if it weren't for our troops back then we might well be speaking a different language (no offense to our German or Japanese members...),& living our lives in a whole different manner.... To our WWII veterans....THANK YOU!!!! & a BIG THANK YOU to our veterans from "The War on Terror" for taking care of bussiness, & keeping us safe.... I am proud to have served in the USAF.....

We owe so much for the sacrifices made by so many to allow us the freedoms we enjoy and to some extent take for granted. If you know an old Vet where ever you may live stop and thank them. Just say thanks.

In Oz we have two diferent Vets days the main is April 25 [known as ANZAC Day] and November 11 [Known as REMEMBERENCE day], my Grandfather died 7 years before I was born, he was a member of the 39th Batallion on the Somme Valley, of the Great War. My mother and father have just returned from a tour of this Battlefield, of my generation of this family tree I am one of 3 who served in the Armed Forces [1969 - 1986] and the only one who served longer than 6 years.
I for one do not forget, what we owe those who fourght for our freedom, my signature carries a short verse for all to remember.

I went to my local monument today with my son, I was brought up not to forget and to be greateful to those who gave so much for our freedoms, I want to make sure that his generation also do not forget.
