Well guys I go to this LHS that sells old kits today , at this place I've spent nearly over £100 in the last month I pick up one Matchbox Wellington kit , plus a tin of paint total £11.50 i get out my debit card to pay when i get from this old git '' i cant afford to take a card for only £11.50 , go to the cash point and get cash '' what away to treat customers , so i walked out the shop got into my car and drove off thats the last time i go to ''Kit Krazy '' high st bexleyheath kent ever again

Well to tell the truth the young guy who owns the shop he is as aggod as gold , nice bloke when he is not there they have this old guy there I just find that guy rude the thing was i was paying with my debit card which as you know is basically paying with cash because my card has platinum and visa , he must of thought it was a credit card which they get charged for the thing is i like going there its great seeing all the old kits but if the old blokes there again I'm not buying so next time I'll phone before I go

Sean, this kind of thing happens a lot with smaller business's It actually costs them money if the purchase is less than a fiver then it would cost them money to take your card, but £11.50? This guy is trying it on and does'nt deserve your custom.

Your only recourse is to (quietly) complain to the owner. He may not have explained it, properly, to the older man (who could be a relative!) Edgar Brooks

Edgar Brooks True very true now I have had a few days to calm down I will its such a shame , the thing is I like the shop you can go in there and spend all day long looking the stuff there is amazing i'm not sure if this guy is related or not but i was just amazed , how he spoke

got to admit that i have used Kit Krazy a few times and never had a problem with them (though i only ever take cash - that way i can't go nuts and have a spending frenzy ;-) ). and each time it has been the old guy. got to say, he does keep his word, i asked for a particular kit at a show and he said if i go to the huddersfield show he'd have it with him then, he stuck to his word and included it in his usual buy 2 get 1 (of equal value to the cheapest) free offer. maybe he was having an off day or something???. i would give him the benefit of the doubt. after all, this shop IS a gold mine after all and very fairly priced too.
