G'day, Here is the Wellesley and the Wellington kit pix. The Wellesley depicted as 148 in the background is the bird intended for this GB.

cool, i have a welington but i am saving this for a long term build. i have started on my Saab Tnnan, this is a lovely little kit but has the usual trenches for panel lines but as i am building it ootb i may just leave them alone. i will decide later.
all the best.

well, the phantom has had its jet exhausts painted and fitted, the canopy fitted (a pig of a fit too) the underside has been finished paint wise, now for undercariage fitting and ordinance painting and fitting. need to find reference in what 2 sqn carried in the recon role, apart from the camera pod that is, got to admit, the matchbox tanks are looking kinda poor and the esci ones i have in the spares box are begging to be used. HMMMMM the Saab Tunnan is almost complete, but the silver paint looks awful, its gone all streaky and horrible, not good. i started a Saab Viggen but have put it away and done some work on other projects.
all the best.

not exactly great pics but here goes, the Saab J21 was a ootb build and the humbrol silver didn't turn out quite as good as i wanted. and with friends. not exactly my best build but its done, to be honest it was the paint that spoilt it, it got painted three times and each time it wasn't a good result, even with a new pot of paint for th third coat. on with the Viggen 2 seater now. i've been a little busy of late, here are pics of my 2 sqn Phantom. hope you like this one. the shark mouth on the camera pod is similar to one i saw in a pic some time back, i couldn't get a decal for it so i had a go at hand painting it on, got to admit though, its not one of my best hand painting efforts. i am thinking of over painting it, what do you guys think? whilst almost done weathering in progress (did i over do it?) nose area hope you like it..... cheers Sean, only things about this one are the trenches for the panel lines and a HUGE seam where the lower fuselage peisi meets the lower part of the nose, as you can see on one of the pics i didn't get this sorted properly, more through lazyness than defeat though the weathering has made it stand out even more. its cureable with some filler and re-scribing. oh and the canopy quater windows (the two small center ones) were a b*tch to fit, they are a bit too big.
hope this helps.
