Hi Ron, What a brilliant build. Well done. Having been the electrical winch operator on a British Centurion ARV - I really do appreciate the fine detail you aquired. Great job. Jim.

Ron, No pics I`m afraid, but lots of memories (way back in the 60`s). Does the Aussie version have the hugh `spade`(ground anchor) at the back? First thing we did on a job was to lower it then reverse so that it dug into the ground and gave a solid pulling base. Does the kit also have the seperate `in - line` diesel engine to drive the dynamo (no alternators in those days) ? Sorry - I can think of a 100 and 1 questions. Jim.

No pics ;D just kidding I have enough from the Dutch version, they still do they work today on a special practice area. But the kit don't have any interior details at all. For the rest its almost the same as the English version with some minor changes such as the fenders they are shorter and some other small points, but that huge ground anchor is there I have a instruction DVD about the Churchill ARV where they explains how every things works an dhow to tow and lift disable AFV some things are unbelievable as you see it if you not have worked with those vehicles. Hmmmmm! Sounds like your going to have to buy a Centurion Jim and build it for Memory's sake!! Looks like we might be getting you into Military yet! Once you try it, you'll love all the extra Detail, and...... All the Aftermarket Goodies too! Check Ron's Recovery Vehicle site under his name....Really a great model builder as you are too....You both push the Detail of your Models to the limit......

RC, Youv`e done a bit of mind reading there. I was going to go on line and see what scale they make the ARV`s in. My mind then raced ahead and I wondered if they did kits for the transporters as well. We used to use a Thornycroft Mighty Antar. I`m over 6` 1 1/2" and I remember a photo of me standing in front of it and not reaching half-way up the radiator! Jim

Jim Jim looks like you need to buy the Dragon Wagon Tank Transporter and the ARV and have the Arv sitting on the Dragon Wagons trailer, chained down... Two super models, both in 1:35th Scale.... Their not in 1:24th scale...Only a few Tanks and "Daisy Duke's Jeep" get in 1:24 scale ha,ha...
