Our club (Gold Coast Modelers) is doing a Corvette build for the month of October. I wanted to do something different so I modified (or should I say “kitbash”) a 98 Vette back to the low profile fin look of the early 60’s with a super racing 409 ci engine. The tires and wheels are from a parts box It’s painted Yellow/Yellow #736 and topped with Clear Pearl I used numbers from a decal sheet to create the “409” license plate A functional hood scoop also from a parts box The interior & uptop are done in Buckskin Suede and Raw Umber with Silver Chrome accents 409 ci Chevy engine with dual quads and velocity stacks I filled in the grille openings then I opened up the Corvette cover plate and added a black mesh screen on the inside

Wow!!! That is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. It has a similar look to an early British TVR sports car. your interior detail is quite awesome. Jim

Thanks Jim. I'm not familiar with the British TVR sports car you mentioned so if you have any pictures of it can you post them ? ?
