Here is a Chassis display that I made so that I could show of the underside of my models at contest. I had a sheet of 3 & 1/2 by 8 & 1/2 plexiglass cut and mirror cut to the same dimensions by my local glass store. Then I used machine screws to place the plexiglass over the mirror high enough that you can see to the chassis. The screws are countersunk to sit flush with the plexiglass It doesn't look like it in the picture. But you can basically see the chassis from all angles. Not to mention you can see it from either side with this version.

Another excellent display Dan. You should go into business making these. I bet they would sell.

Ha! Not enough time to do so with my other display case and this chassis display is to simplistic to ever sell. ;D

Dan, What a brilliant (and simple) idea. It`s not copyright is it? LOL. I assum that the srews are sitting on top of the miror and that you didn`t have to drill the glass. You say it`s too simple to attract interest. Well it`s exactly the simple ideas that nobody has thought of, that take off. Well done.

The screws BTW have been drilled into the glass (top piece) and countersunk in so they sit flat. However they are simply sitting atop the mirror (bottom piece) so that I can easily clean the mirror and both sides of the plexiglass.
