The second Grim Reaper was built, also with a new front end made from various sized of aluminum tubing, and a new back fender molded in fiberglass. The fuel tank was reshaped using Bondo, and the neck re-raked by cutting the frame and removing a wedge. The frame was re-glued and the neck re-contoured using Bondo. The handlebars were bent from 1/8" brass tubing with a 3/32 aluminum wire insert to prevent the tubing from kinking at the bends. The engine was also stripped of the chrome, again using Liquid Plumber and the chrome on the front end added using Alclad Chrome. However, this time the chrome was applied over the black base coat before the base coat was dry giving a more satin appearance to the chrome.
