I got this one Saturday at Wallyworld.... It can be built as either a coupe or P.U. .... This is gonna be a gasser coupe....

Paint is Testors Yellow....

Here's the mostly finished engine... The magneto's made out of sprue, & Evergreen...

& the started chassis... I shot it with Testors silver, then brush painted the rails....

Here’s a 40 Willys drag coupe that I built over 42 years ago when the kit was first released. It took 1st Place in a Revell National Model Car Contest at a local store called T.G.&Y. And I still have the trophy packed away somewhere

Here’s the original box

A side shot of the box

The tail lights are missing

And so is the grill

Yes I use to wire up engines back then but I was much younger back then too

It’s painted Competition Orange which also includes the orange peel effect

That’s black corduroy on the seats

And black felt on the door panels

It’s basically built “out of box”

I was listening to the oldies station yesterday & "Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On" by "The Killer" came on & I thought,"wow that would be an ideal name for this", so here we go!!!!

Wow! That looks great! Yes on no grill so your gas tank and Radiator can be seen for sure.. Love the Color! ...Interier looks real!..Engine Plumming's super too....Whole car is Super Ken...Gonna put it in MOM?! Looks like a Winner to Me! ;D
