When this site started out, it was going strong, but now it seems its turned into a desserted Island! I don't want to see this Forum get deleted! I'm doing my best to spread the word to others, if just 3 people get 2 others to join each (thats 6), and those 2 get 2 more to join each (thats 18), and those get two more to join each (then thats 54) and you get the idea, so please, lets try and get this site some publicity so we can keep this site going and most of all Keep this hobby going!!

So please help me spread the word!!

I'm hoping to get our people reading them & telling their model building friends to come see them and coming back for more! Plus adding to them too.....
Your right.. if you tell someone and they tell someone and they tell someone and on & on ...We'll have a super model forum too..

I don't want to ruin it for the others...I know I post a lot!
But I don't post pictures of my models... I am too shy about sharing them..I only have a few that I really like to show, even to my kid's....Like Ive said in another post... I do have a Large junk box full of parts!...Parts of fenders, frames and other broken thing's Ive tried to build...Thats why I'm such a big fan of these artist's we have here and do envy every one I've said that too...

Yes! But most of all, try and invite new people if you can! I think that would really help this site stay alive, and if new people join, that will get all the old members interested in it again, hopefully.

What happened here to the "Old Members" to make them quit?! Where did they all go? Its not just members who've pulled out, its moderator's too.....There's only about 15 maybe of us left and it shows over 300 have registered...What happened that ran them off? Are we trying for too big of a gathering of different models and modelers?
Maybe we should just squeeze us into a civilian car,pick-up truck and big rig And military forum plus race cars too thats 3 1:24 and 1:35 and what ever the scale the race cars are they have so many scales.....I don't see anymore Aircraft guys.......I know that FSM and ScaleAuto are bigger and have more people, but theres a lot of rivet counters and "Clicks" (don't know how to spell it correctly) there too and they won't except newer guys into their groups easily and they "Won't allow spell Check" and a few wonderful things we have here
...Dan Is the Best Host on the on-line forums in our fellow Brother FSM & SA forum sites .... He's far more understanding than the other hosts, Jim Haught & Matt Usher.. I do like them but I'm happier to be here full time and I'm only there part time...
I don't know what is wrong here and I guess Dan and his moderators don't either ..
I know their as up set as you and I are and a few of the others are too....
Thats why I thought I'd try a little humor to get the guys back reading some fun Jokes and I have a huge lot of jokes to share.. So we won't be seeing many repeaters of the same jokes as I post them every month unless told other wise not to share them....
If everyone who does come to read them and share their's are grown up and don't ruin it for the others with graffiti & bad language to offend other's it might help to bring in a few more and so on like you said...."RC"

I think all the modeling forums are suffering from a lack of input this time of year. let's face it, with the good weather and growing list of chores for us modelers, it's hard to find the time to spend checking out the various forums.
In regards to the FSM forum members having "cliques", I can't really say I agree with that observation. I am just now getting back into aircraft and armor modeling and have posted some questions which might be considered idiotic to some of the more experienced builders of these subjects. However, all the replies I've gotten, and I have gotten alot, have been nothing but supportive and encouraging. Yes, the SA forums leave ALOT to be desired in various fronts, but I also don't think it's a good idea to bash other forums and the efforts put forth by those people.
I admit, I haven't posted here as much as I should, but that's because I have been busy trying to pump some life into our model club and forums. As for combining forums and eliminating, our club has just established a second set of forums dedicated to all model subjects with the exception of automotive modeling. We decided it wouldn't be fair to the automitve modelers to combine and eliminate forums to make room for the added subject matter. By the same token, it wouldn't have been fair to combine the forums of the added subjects to be able to fit them all into one forum setting. So, our club established two seperate message forums and to be honest, I think this setup will work out quite well for those who are just into car modeling and those who just care to model armor, aircraft, sci-fi, figures, etc.
Be patient people. I personally feel these forums are alive and well, just taking a respite because of the great weather we've been having!

And thanks for the correct spelling of "Cliques"I added that word to my "Don't know how to spell Word's" list.. .ha,ha.....
Yes it is super weather, guess being an old man not getting out much hadn't dawned on me......And... you are right!....The other forum's are not as active either.....It's got to be the weather and the long Honey Do's list's now.....

Go check out Hobbytalk.com, that will give you an idea of how to get the "word out". They really get hobby shops and manufactures involved in supporting a specific chat forum. I paid 50.00 to be a life long member, which allowed me to post links to my auctions in their auction links forum.
