I noticed on eBay today that there is another Italeri 1:24 conversion kit for sale, which reminded me of the two previous ones I`d bought. This kit contains both a crane and hydraulic tail lift. I`ve enclosed two photos of the cranes but havn`t tried out the lifts yet. I converted a Revell dry goods trailer to the one shown and added a crane to a Scania tractor unit, although I`m not sure if this is possible in the real thing, as I can`t remember having seen one on the road.

Hi RC, I remember your comments well (I just didn`t connect you with the name). I took on board all you said regarding the third axle and have set aside a couple of kits for the purpose. I`m still trying to get my hands on another Italeri conversion kit for the crane. To tell the truth, I don`t want to chop up this completed one one. Good to speak to you again. Jim
