IH Scout

Hello everybody,
I have been working on an IH Scout. It is not in a factory color, it will be burgundy with desert tan interior (right now the interior is still under primer.). I opened up the grill area to try to make it look more realistic. I painted the engine the body color. I hope it turns out well. This is only me second time using an air-brush and I don't think it has turned out too bad. I am learning what not to do with an air-brush.



I hope this turns out it is my first time posting a picture on a forum.

Well that grille certainly looks good. Looks awfully pink on my screen, though! Nevermind that- Give us some progress pics, I can hardly wait!

The old IH was a great vehicle. We had one when I was younger. Looking forward to seeing some more photos of the progress.

Ok, here are some more pics of it just about finished. I have yet to finish a few things on the engine, just minor stuff. I also have to put on the bumpers and mirrors and such. I may just leave the bumpers off, I think it looks pretty good that way! The color is burgundy and it is an OLD Testors bottle that I had. It is 15-20 years old. It shows up a bit like pink in the pics. I painted the interior Tamiya flat Desert Yellow. The "chrome" highlights are done using a metallic silver Sharpie.
