Three years well spent! Great weathering job! Did you photoreduce the magazine?

Three years well spent! Great weathering job! Did you photoreduce the magazine? Sure did Dan. And the Ferrari Motorsports poster is also photoreduced. The magazine is actually a British Road Atlas. AA is the British equivalent to the U.S's AAA automotive club. That white thing sticking up out of the console is actually a coffee mug...

Perhaps one day, a member will sit down and write out an A - Z on weathering technics. I for one would really appreciate that. Jim

You know, the "weathering" on that truck is all pastels. All I did was rub the pastel chalk on a flannel rag and then just shook the rag over the truck. What you see here is where the pastel chalk just naturally landed on the truck. Nothing fancy at all, and like I say, I probably went a bit overboard on the weathering.

Perhaps one day, a member will sit down and write out an A - Z on weathering technics. I for one would really appreciate that. Jim Ayup Jim / Dan, I've had some small success with weathering on trucks and was considering putting a few hints and tips together. I'm not an expert by any means but I enjoy the challenge of weathering. How about a question and answer session? ... I've had some really friendly experiences since joining this forum and if I can help give something back, I'll gladly do my best should any modeller have questions about truck weathering.
