Hook 'em up and go

Some of builds I finished very recently. All are wreckers. Hope you like 'em.

First is BRUTUS. Its a Pete 379 changed to a Pete 353 with chrome flat fenders extended front bumper from the Revell Fire truck. It has the wide tires on the front and 3 rear axles. The light bar is from the Ghostbusters car.





2nd is "Popeye" a Pete 379 Wrecker. It has the rear section from the Revell Kenworth wrecker mated to the chassis. I scratch built a light bracket from plastruct and again used a Ghostbusters light bar. I used a shorter tank from the KW to fit under the door of the cab.





3rd in the series. "Sweet Pea" 1984 GMC 4x4 with Revell Midnight Cowboy wrecker bed. Light bar from Lindberg, Wheels and tires from AMT Chevy Dually snap kit, Front bumper from Revell snap Wrecker.





And a shot of the three together.



The color scheme on all the trucks are the same. Model Master ACRYL paints used. The cabs and wrecker booms are #4774 Hellgrun RLM 25 (Green) and the beds are #4752 Gunship Gray. Hope you like them.

Great work Todd. It`s fantastic to have another truck builder on board. We`ve been rather outnumbered in recent months.
I`ve just finished my Leyland and can`t decide which to open next. It`s a toss-up between the Revell Merc/Benz fire truck and the Peterbilt Commander wrecker. Jim.
