Here's where I'm at today... The stack assy.'s just sitting in place so I can line up the pipes.... after looking at the pics I decided that the airfilter canister just didn't look "right" chrome, so I painted it black.... ;D

This is coming along fantastically. I like these trucks. I don't like driving the cab overs though. Too rough a ride for me. I liked my conventional when I drove. Will this be displayed with a trailer? Looking forward to seeing it completed.

Thanks Dave!!!! ;D Some of our rigs had generator units behind the cab which were GREAT ballast!!!!LOL!!!! Anyways she's done.... This one depicts one of the several Transtars that we had as "backup" tractors, (our primary road rigs were K-W's & GMC's)... In 89 & 90 I drove one similar to this one from the Wisconsin Dells to Sarasota Fl. pulling half of the Himilaya .... We had acouple of conventionals, a GMC general( there's a build here somewhere) & the "Bosses" K-W conventional with the crane.... I'm hoping that AMT will reissue the K123,( so I can build Old Blue with the new paintjob) & the K-W convetional so I can build the Bosses rig!!!! Sorry, no trailer.... Thanks for lookin!!!! ;D
