I couldn’t find a 1950 historical license plate only a 1949 so that’s why I call it a 49 instead of a 50 The body is painted British Racing Green with a light Almond color for the grille, front bumper and wheels The front clip is from the 62 T-Bird kit and the decals are from an old modified stocker kit I drilled out the wheels that came in the 70 Chevelle kit and added deep wheel rings for the rear duallys I scratch built the flatbed by using plastic strips for the frame and balsawood for the planks. The license plate holder & taillights are from a parts box The interior is painted in leather and I used brown flock on the stock bench seat The dash is also done in British Racing Green I added tri power to the 283 ci Chevy engine with headers and NO mufflers

Same here, why not MOM? I recognise the British Racing Green (LOL) but here is where I show my total ignorance , what is the orange bonnet (hood) on the flat? Jim

Sorry guys, I`m obviously not explaining what I needed to know, very well. Before the orange hood became salvage, what was the type of car that it belonged to? Chevvy, Buick etc. Pwwwwww!!!! I wish I`d never asked now. ROFL.

We're just having fun with ya Jim ;D That front clip came from the AMT '62 T-Bird kit. I know the picture makes it look orange but it's actually a faded weathered red
