Heres a pic of my latest. Its the Revell 65 Chev Impala SS low rider. I've used color shifting nail polish on the body. I just have to give it another couple of coats, sand it down, paint the trim, put on the decals and clear it. I hope you guys like it. Thanks for looking.

Really coming along great!! Thats a super looking engine and the under carriage looks Hot!! Can't wait to see the finish so you can enter it in MOM....Wild looking Eye's on the trunk!! Wow! just noticed them they are super! Window and fender wells look super.. You've put in a lot of detail on the body...This is going to be eye candy for sure!...As we use to say: "Great looking Short Dude!" Back in my day they were called Shorts..(cars) ha,ha....
Have fun..."RC"

Great looking car you have there. I hadn`t noticed the `eyes`until RC pointed them out. Your paintwork is great - the only two colour runs I`ve managed so far have been purely accidental LOL. What scale are we looking at here? 1:24th ? Jim

I've used color shifting nail polish on the body. Its hard to believe thats Finger Nail Polish!. Ive read about using Nail Polish in Brian's tutorial's... But never seen one painted and 'Color shifting' nail polish at that too....You got the camera just right to get the two shifting colors in the same shot..Really a Super paint job....Youve got to get it done and in MOM for sure....Its a beaut!...

thanks for the compliments everyone. I've been trying to take all the things I've learned from other builders on this site and others and apply it to this car. I have some more pics of the almost finished interior and a mock up of the body on the car. I hope you all like it.

Good looking car! Just wondering what brand of nail polish you've used? It sure looks better then Alclad2's colour shifting paints and I bet it's easier on the wallet to!?

The brand I used was Sally Hansen and it was called nail prisms. You can buy it at Wal-Mart. Thanks for the compliments everyone.
