This was built many years ago from a Minicraft kit. I would say that their quality would have rivaled Tamiya for the times. To the best of my knowledge they made this and a Yamaha 650 twin. Now with all the Alclad paints I'd like to take it back apart but I don't have the courage so I guess it'll stay like it is. gbritnell

From what I can see, I'd NOT worry about any "upgrades"! It looks way too good to take a chance on a re-build. Alclad or not! I did wonder if that is a MIN-craft kit, and not a MINI-craft. I'm no expert on plastic kits, but I recall having several different MinCraft kits. Though, given MY lousy memory, I'd not bet EITHER way! LOL Anyone else know the real story? The MC kits I remember building were smaller, and less detailed. So, maybe it IS Minicraft. Anyways, it's a fine build and I'D wait to see if I could locate another one, built or un-built before trying to do a "better" job on one. KUTGW! ;D
