Hey, I was wondering if anybody else had ever tried foil on brake disks. I want to learn a little better how to do foil and thought it might look good on the disks on the 06 Mustang I am working on. On this project I am using regular kitchen foil and some metal leaf glue that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I will post some pics to see what you all think. Here is the back side of the rotor as I am getting it ready. This is the front side of the brake rotor that I have finished.

Here is the finished rotor on the Mustang. I can see that I have a little bit of "steel" paint to get off of the foil and a little bit more trimming of foil, but here is what it looks like. I don't think it looks too bad, what do any of you think? Jerry

Hey there Heckler, so far it is turning out well. I will be posting some pics of the finished model here soon. It has worked pretty well so far and should look good behind the wheels when finished.
