As some of you know, I am not the least bit happy with the way the dash in my Challenger is shaping up at the present time. I'm wondering what methods y'all use to bring out things like the raised numbers in the guages, knobs, switches, and so forth. trying to pick this stuff out with paint is nerve-wrecking to say the least. To me, a poorly detailed dash ruins the whole appearance of the interior. I'm open to any and all suggestions. I'm thinking of trying to photoreduce some 1:1 guages to get the look I want, but I'm not sure how realistic they would look either. In other words...HELP!!!!!!

I have used a few different ideas on mine, I used to use a toothpick sharpened to a point and just dab it on the numbers. Can be a real pain though. I then tried drybrushing...it seems to work best on black faced gauges. I tried using white and silver both and it doesn't turn out too bad. On the last few I have used a Sharpie silver marker and it has worked great. I imagine it would be a little harder to use if the gauges are very deep though. I also did a set of gauges that I painted white and used the extra fine tip Sharpies for the red and blue details. That one worked really nice. Let me know if any of these help.
