Hiya Boomer, ;D I haven't built a car yet..sry, I promise I am going to real soon, the auto guys here are really awesome and their pix make me want to more and more. But..what I wans going to say is, I have detailed engines in armor and some in airplanes, what I have used to good effect is soldering wire from Radio Shack, I got different diameters but .015 and .032 does real good for 1/35 and 1/48th scale, use it for brake lines, fuel injectors, etc., etc. it can be painted and conforms to any shape you want! I don't know if this is the info you are looking for, but just thought I would offer. I would also look on the web for wiring diagrams on the vehicle you want and wire in what you think is appropiate, could do the same for brake systems, hydraulics, whatever. The bigger Diameter wire could also be used for hoses and the like. This is a quick and simple example of the soldering wire for the light, the original wire was too stiff and didnt fit like it was supposed to...
Sry can't be of more help, Bill
