Here is a progress pic of my Accurate Miniatures 1/48 B-25C/D which I am building as a C that was used in Operation Torch. None of the color demarctation lines will be viewable from the outside, which is why I didn't take my time on them. The aluminum is MM Metalizer aluminum buffing with sealer and future over it. I originally forgot to apply future and applied a oil wash without it. You can see my mistake on the bomb bay fuel tank. The bombs will cover this up. The camera I have can take better pictures than that, I just felt like scaling down the qualitity. The B-25 kit is great, but has some issues with the bomb bay wall inserts and the turrets. The bomb bay wall inserts don't actualy fit where they are supposed to. They just sit atop. The top turret guns just sit in a large cradle and can not be positioned unless glued into place. The ammo belt for the nose machine gun is very disappointing. I'll take a picture of it.

Looks good so far, apart from the floor in the kit it builds into a nice subject. I've built the 'B' version of the A.M. kits as a 2 Sqn RAAF 'My Favorite, one of two birds we operated in the overall Foliage Green. Rob.

That is great work on the interior, too bad most of it will be hidden. The big issue for me on these kits is the engine cowls being, well, not even close....looks like you are making good progress.

I'm building a C variant, so the cowls won't have the exhaust stubs. A large exhaust port was used instead.

I no longer wonder why they stopped providing the instrument panel decal in the kits. It doesn't fit, and can't even be made to fit. I'll have to spend $20 on either the Eduard PE set or the Verlinden Detail Set in order to pick up an instrument panel. The one that comes with the kit can't be drybrushed.
